Milica Delević is the Director for Competitiveness, Governance and Political Affairs at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. She works on development and implementation of governance and sector reform policies in the Bank’s countries of operation, as well as oversees political and political economy analysis. Prior to joining the Bank, Milica worked as the Director of the European Integration Office of the Serbian Government and chaired the Committee for European Integration in the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia. Her published work includes book chapters and articles on the EU enlargement process, regional cooperation in the Western Balkans as well as on political conditionality and economic sanctions in international relations. Milica holds a BA from the University of Belgrade, a MA from the Central European University and a PhD from the University of Kent, Canterbury. During her studies, she was selected by the UK FCDO as a Chevening Scholar. She is currently an Independent Governor of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
