Sofija Todorovic graduated from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade and Programme Director of YIHR Serbia. Sofija is a human rights activist and an educator with extensive expertise in the fields of human rights, transitional justice and conflict transformation. She was awarded the Ledolomac human rights prize by Serbia’s Liberal Democratic Party in 2018, and received a Feminist Achievement Award for 2019 from BeFem, a Serbian feminist cultural center while in 2021 she received and Human Rights Defender recognition from Civic Initiatives in Belgrade. Sofija’s activism and contribution to the reconciliation processes in the region have also been awarded with an “Ordinary Heroes” prize by Post-Conflict Research Center from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She became an IVLP Alumane in 2023 which is U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program. Sofija also completed Peace and Conflict Summer Program 2017 organised by the Rochester Institute of Technology, Kosovo.
