Lauren Lowe is a researcher in the field of gender, peace, and security. She has a background in history and genocide studies, with experience conducting research on the Rwandan genocide, for Australian war museums and within the university sector. Lauren has a Master of International Development Practice from Monash University, where she completed her thesis on gender-responsive security sector reform. Her current research is focused on post-conflict peacebuilding, Australia’s development sector, and development and security in the Asia-Pacific.
