
Radomir Lazović has been active in the civil sector for more than 12 years, focusing on cultural policy, fair resource management, citizen participation in urban development decision-making, civil, political, and social rights, democratic innovations, and media. He is one of the founders of the Institute for Urban Politics, a civil society organisation engaged in analysing urban commons, participatory urban and spatial planning, the right to housing, and models of democratic management of shared spaces. Lazović is also one of the founders and long-time director of the Street Gallery, a unique art space in Belgrade. From 2015 to 2017, he served as the Chair of the Board of the Association of the Independent Cultural Scene of Serbia. He is currently the Co-President of the Green Left Front and President of the Green–Left Parliamentary Group “Ne davimo Beograd” in the National Assembly of Serbia. He advocates for a just, solidaristic, and democratic society.
