Uladzimir Vialichkin

Member of the Human Rights Centre Viasna

Uladzimir Vialichkin is a human rights defender and a member of Human Rights Centre Viasna, the leading non-governmental organisation working to promote human rights in Belarus. From 1998 to 2003, he was the board chair of Brest Regional Department of Public Association „Human Rights Center Viasna”. Since 2004, he is the board chair of Human Rights Public Association „Brest Spring”.

He graduated from Minsk State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages in 1987, as Magister of Education.

In 2007, Vialichkin graduated from Stanislaw Staszic College of Public Administration in Bialystok, on Public Administration.

Since 1994, he has taken active part in elections in Belarus. He participated in 11 international missions observing elections as LTO and STO.
