Dritan Abazović

Former Prime Minister of Montenegro

Dritan Abazović holds a PhD in political science and is the author of two books: "Cosmopolitan Culture and Global Justice" and "A Critique of Global Ethics." Throughout his career, he has published around ten academic papers in domestic and international journals, primarily in the fields of political philosophy and international relations. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Religious Freedom and Security in Europe (IFFSE) and the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR). Dritan Abazović served as the Prime Minister of Montenegro’s 43rd Government (2022–2023) and previously held the position of Deputy Prime Minister in the 42nd Government (2020–2022). In 2012, he became the youngest Member of Parliament in Montenegro, a position he held until 2020, when he was appointed to a new role. Currently, he is President of the Civic Movement URA – United Reform Action.
