Milica Delevic is the Director for Competitiveness, Governance and Political Affairs at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Prior to joining the Bank, Milica worked as the Director of the European Integration Office of the Serbian Government, Assistant Foreign Minister and chaired the Committee for European Integration in the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia. Milica is a member of a number of professional organisations, including the European Council on Foreign Relations and the Balkans in Europe Policy Advisory Group and an alumna of the Munich Young Leaders Programme of the Munich Security Conference and the Korber Foundation. Milica also lectured on foreign policy and European integration at the University of Belgrade in Serbia and the Central European University and was Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy of the Serbia and Montenegro Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She holds a BA from the University of Belgrade, a MA from the Central European University and a PhD from the University of Kent, Canterbury. During her studies, she was selected by the UK FCO as a Chevening Scholar. Her publications include book chapters and articles on the EU enlargement process, regional cooperation in the Western Balkans as well as on political conditionality and economic sanctions in international relations.
