Yvette Szepesi is responsible for EU neighborhood and enlargement policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague. From 2017 – 2019 she was the coordinator of the sanctions cluster during the Dutch term at the UN Security Council in 2018. Before this she held various positions in the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and worked in Afghanistan, Palestinian Territories, North Macedonia and at the Dutch delegation to the OSCE in Vienna.
Yvette has expertise in international diplomacy, human rights and the rule of law and holds a master’s degree in political science from the Free University of Amsterdam (VU).
