Christoph Grabenwarter

Christoph Grabenwarter has been a Member of the Austrian Constitutional Court since 2005. From 2018 to 2020 he was a Vice-President of the Constitutional Court, and from 2020 he is the President of the Constitutional Court. Previously, he worked as Full professor of Public Law at the University of Bonn and Full professor of Public Law at the Karl-Franzens University Graz. Grabenwarter has been a Member of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe since 2006, and Board member of the Austrian Lawyers’ Association. He is also Full professor of Public Law, Commercial Law and International Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and Honorary professor at the Eötvös-Lorand-University in Budapest.
