Megi Reçi

Megi is a researcher on governance and civic space at the Institute for Democracy and Mediation. Her work at IDM focuses primarily on conducting policy analysis and research on matters of transparency, corruption, and public participation in decision-making.

Her previous work experiences were mainly focused on human rights advocacy and research, with a strong focus on anti-discrimination and freedom of expression in Albania and the Western Balkans.

Since 2021, she is part of the DCAF network of researchers from the Western Balkans, and has been researching intersections of cybersecurity and human rights aiming to provide policy recommendations to improve cybersecurity governance in Albania.

She is a lawyer and holds a Master of Science in Public Law.
