Nedžla Kurtćehajić currently works at MIRCURY, a multidisciplinary international conflict resolution institute based in The Hague, Netherlands, which focuses on innovative approaches to the prevention and resolution of violent conflicts. At MIRCURY, she works on two projects: Dialogue Europe-Russia and Dialogue for Bosnia and Herzegovina. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a student assistant in the course Politics of Identity at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo. She started her career as a political journalist on FACE TV, and she also improved professionally through engagements in the Bosnian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Forum of Bosnian Intellectuals. Nedžla’s academic career was marked by a Bachelor diploma and a master’s degree in political science, both with a focus on International Relations and Diplomacy, at the University of Sarajevo. She is the winner of the Sarajevo Canton Hero of the Generation award in the Science and Education category. Nedžla is currently attending the second master’s program at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (SSST), at the Department of Conflict Analysis and Reconciliation.
