
Sara Milenkovska is a feminist researcher, activist, and project coordinator at Coalition MARGINS in North Macedonia, where she leads initiatives addressing gender-based violence, anti-gender disinformation, and the erosion of civic space. Her work focuses on the intersections of gender justice, LGBTQI+ rights, and democratic resilience, with particular attention to authoritarian pushback against feminist and queer movements in the Western Balkans. She holds an MSc in Gender, Politics and Inequality from the London School of Economics and a Master’s in Strategic Communications. Sara is also the co-founder of the Stella Network, a women-led mentorship platform fostering solidarity and empowerment among girls and women. She regularly contributes to regional and international advocacy efforts, including UN dialogues on technology-facilitated violence and gender equality.
