Yana Zolotarova

Yana Zolotarova is the communications manager at the оne of the leading non-governmental and non-partisan all-Ukrainian organizations for public oversight and advocacy in the field of elections “Civil Network OPORA”. She obtained her PhD in History (Tara’s Shevchenko National University of Kyiv). In OPORA she specializes in informational support of the organization’s activities in inter-election periods and a large-scale information campaign during the election period. She coordinated the work of a network of more than 20 regional communications managers during the national, nonpartisan observation missions in Ukraine from 2015 to 2022. Ms Zolotarova is the co-author of the scripts for two video blogs on OPORA’s YouTube channel “The History of Ukrainian Democracy” and the host of “Do you know what?” (about political advertising in social networks and the spread of disinformation).
